I've been working as a professional developer since 2012. My experience has been a mix
of native applications, web development, and mobile, primarily in Node.js, Qt, Java and Kotlin. I currently
focus on building backend services using Node.js but I'm always open to learning new technologies.

Our most recent project focuses on creating a lifestyle application focused on people that are
pre-diabetics or diabetics. It offers meal tracking, insulin and glucose monitoring and educational
content.
Lead backend developer, focusing more on system architecture, design and code reviews.
Interviewed candidates for our backed team and provided hiring feedback.
Started development on the Android app, leveraging modern Android architecture and Kotlin.
Provided support for the iOS team, helping them debug issues when using our REST API.
Designed and developed a chat system for patients to chat one-on-one with clinicians during the COVID-19
emergency.

Ember is a non-invasive tracker that helps high performance athletes monitor their oxygen levels,
pulse rate variability and others.
Main developer for the backend system that allowed users to create accounts and synchronize measurement
data.
Designed our cloud architecture using AWS while maintaining a low operation cost.
Successfully migrated our data with zero downtime from MongoDB to Postgres.
Created data pipelines to anonymize and copy measurements for data analysis.
Led the development in porting our iOS app to Android using React Native

Cercacor Labs - Software Engineer (Native apps)

Apps and middleware developer for a medical device and tablet hybrid. The device was capable of taking
glucose measurements, pulse rate, and others.
Developed common apps from scratch for our custom Linux OS, such as a wifi settings, calculator, phone
and contacts.
Contributed to middleware layer design and integration.
Designed and implemented connectivity system integration for phone, wifi and data using libraries such
as connman, ofono and bluz.
University of Veracruz - Web Developer
February 2012 — August 2012
The university embarked on a massive migration of all it's web pages from a custom CMS to
Wordpress. I provided custom plugins and web pages to feed the needs of different departments.
Develop custom plugins to provide directions and weather information.
Created custom widgets for site admins to configure the plugins.
